Is it really permanent?
Permanent reduction, which is the honest term. Most people finish a course with a large majority of hair gone for good, and come back once a year or so for the few that return. Anyone promising every hair forever is overselling.
Does it work on blonde, red or grey hair?
Poorly, because the laser needs pigment to aim at. We will be straight with you about this rather than sell you a course that cannot work.
Can I shave between sessions?
Shave, yes, and you should shave the day before. Do not wax, pluck or thread between sessions, because that removes the root the laser is trying to reach.
Is it safe on darker skin?
On our platform, yes. Wavelength and settings are matched to your skin type at a test patch first. Older single wavelength machines are where the risk of burns on darker skin came from.
Which areas can you treat?
We treat most hair bearing areas. The most requested are Brazilian and bikini, underarms, legs and arms, facial areas such as the upper lip, chin and jawline, and for men the back, chest, shoulders, neck and beard line.
