Dermal fillers are hyaluronic acid gels placed under the skin to restore volume that has been lost with age. They suit adults with flattened cheeks, hollowing or folds caused by deflation rather than loose skin. Cost depends on how many syringes are appropriate, which is decided at assessment. See our Pricing page and book a consultation for your own number.

Faces do not just wrinkle as they age, they deflate. Fat pads shrink and shift, cheeks flatten, and the skin that used to be held up starts to fold. Filler puts structure back where it went, using hyaluronic acid, which is a substance your body already makes.

Good filler work is invisible. You look rested and slightly better in photographs and nobody can tell you why. Bad filler work is why the whole category has a reputation, and it comes from treating the fold instead of the reason for the fold.

Straight answers

Dermal Fillers, honestly

Still unsure? Call or WhatsApp the clinic. We would rather answer a question than book the wrong treatment.

Will it look obvious?

Not if the volume is placed where it was lost rather than pumped into the line you noticed. We treat the cause of the fold. That is the whole difference between filler that reads well and filler that does not.

Can it be removed?

Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with an enzyme injection. This is a genuine safety feature and a good reason to choose them over permanent alternatives.

How much bruising should I expect?

Some, often none, occasionally a fair amount. Do not book anything social for three days, and avoid alcohol, fish oil and anti inflammatories beforehand if your doctor is happy for you to pause them.

How long until it settles?

You see the shape immediately, but there is swelling for the first few days. Two weeks is when you are looking at the real result.
